Restorative yoga literally means “restorative yoga” or “renewing yoga”. This means that with restorative yoga you address the self-healing capacity of your body. This can be very much needed after or during a period of physical or mental overload. Your body can do a lot more than you think, you just have to give it the rest and exercise that it needs.
